The Center for HICS Education and Training is a non-profit organization whose mission is to advance healthcare emergency management through the development and presentation of incident command guidance, educational materials, training, and research by:

• Advocating the idespread adoption and use of HICS by healthcare organizations;
• Promoting and participating in the continued evolution and development of HICS;
• Facilitating a consistent level of quality training and implementation of HICS;
• Establishing and maintaining a national clearinghouse of HICS information and feedback; and
• Providing HICS training and consulting services to organizations and governmental agencies.
