LEOSA CCW Requal
LEOSA / HR-218 CCW Requalifications
Are you a retired/seperated military law enforcement officer?
Are you having trouble finding a range in Southern California to qualify you annually?
LEOSA Requal

We offer qualified retired/seperated Law Enforcement Officers residing in California the ability to quickly and easily qualify for their LEOSA/HR-218 annual firearms qualification requirements.

We provide annual Concealed Carry Weapons (CCW) qualification courses that meet the requirements set forth in the Law Enforcement Officer Safety Act (LEOSA) of 2004 and Improvements Act of 2010 (18 U.S.C. Chapter 44, 926(b) and (c)) for qualified retired/separated law enforcement officers to carry a concealed firearm in the 50 states and U.S. territories.

We utilize California P.O.S.T., B.S.I.S., and NRA certified law enforcement firearms instructors.  Our instructors can qualify retired/seperated LEOSA officers using either the California P.O.S.T. or your agency’s qualification course.

Upon successful completion, officers will be issued a Weapons Qualification Card as evidence of your annual qualification pursuant to 18 U.S.C. 926. When accompanied by a valid LEOSA ID, this will provide the necessary documentation that you have qualified within the last 12 months.

To carry concealed you must qualify at least annually and:
(1) met the State's standards for training and qualification to carry a firearm for active law enforcement officers in that state for the same type of weapon as the concealed,
(2) qualify using the State's LEOSA firearms qualification course, or
(3) if the State has not established law enforcement officer firearms qualification standard the instructor will certify the officer has completed the DoD Component handgun qualification course conducted by a state certified civilian firearms instructor using the member's privately owned firearm and personally procured ammunition.

The Law Enforcement Officer Safety Act of 2004 (also known as HR-218) and it's subsequent ammendments are 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44, Section 926.
